List of Top 10 Cruise Ships To Try
If you’re like us, cruising the high seas through YouTube is almost as fun as the real thing—minus the ocean breeze and piña coladas, of course! After hours of watching cruise vloggers capture every wave and wanderlust moment, we’ve curated our Bucket List of Top 10 Cruise Ships to Try. Whether you’re an experienced cruiser or still testing the waters, these ships promise bucket-list-worthy amenities that’ll have you packing your bags (and maybe hitting “subscribe” one too many times). Ready to dive in? Let’s set sail! How many of these ships have you sailed? Are we missing any top cruise ships to try?

Our Cruise Ship Bucket List of Ships
- Celebrity Edge Class Ships – Ascent, Beyond, Apex, Edge – some reviewers call this the most well-rounded cruise ship on the seas today. We checked this one off our Bucket List this November 2024. Learn More HERE.
2. Celebrity Xcel – Its maiden voyage is in November 2025.
3. Royal Caribbean – Icon of the Seas and the upcoming Star of the Seas. Touted as the biggest cruise ships (at least in Royal’s line) these look like jam-packed fun. While they do make port stops, judging by all the activities on-board, you certainly wouldn’t be board if you never stepped foot in port.
4. Royal Caribbean – Utopia of the Seas, Wonder of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas. Oasis Class ships have caught our fancy. Their size and amenities look amazing. Central Park and the Boardwalk area look like a lot of fun. Oasis Class ships are certainly well-loved by cruise ship vloggers and we’d love to give one a try.
5. Princess – Sun & Star Princess (2025) – We’ve never sailed Princess but as Carnival’s more-upscale line, we’re open to giving it a try, and we aim to start with their newest in the fleet.
6. Carnival – Mardi Gras, Celebration & Jubilee. We’ve sailed Carnival three times, and we’ll do a fourth to get on one of Carnival’s new and big ships. We love, Love, LOVE Blue Iguana Cantina and that’s reason enough to board a fun ship.
7. MSC – World Europa & World America (Setting sail in 2025). We’ve never cruised MSC but figure, if we’re going to give it a try, we should aim big and new.
8. Virgin Voyages – Any ship – their newest Brilliant Lady sets sail in 2025. Adults only cruising? Yes please!
9. Disney Cruise Lines – Disney Treasure & Disney Destiny (Nov 2025) & Adventure (2025). Yes, we’d give Disney Cruising, even without little kids with us, a try. We’re Disney Fans and would love to check out their on-board entertainment and hit up their private islands Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay.
10. Norwegian Prima, Viva or Aqua (2025) or Luna (2026) – Norwegian ships always catch my eye, so we’ve put their newest ships on our list of top cruise ships to try bucket list.
Based on our list of top cruise ships to try, you can tell that brand-loyalty and status isn’t as important to us as variety. What are your favourite cruise lines and ships? Are we missing any amazing ship experiences we absolutely need to add to our list? Let us know!
